11 years ago some Star Wars obsessed ravers in Leeds set up a label to release the unique, hybrid sounds escaping from their studio in the rhubarb triangle. These trippy electronic sounds from the young Lawson, Finlow and Hugget, inspired by the fresh sounds from Detroit and Chicago soon pricked up ears across the planet and low and behold we are still here all these years later with an international repertoire working on their own take on the 2020 sound. Our emphasis is on diversity and long term development, we aren't looking for bandwagons to jump on or the next big cheesy hits, its all about quality round these parts and, of course, the funk. We are always pleased to listen to new music that comes through the door, and have been using myspace to check out new artists. We haven't the time to comment on tracks from myspace pages, but we do try and check as many as possible. Please dont send us a message with links to your new tracks as we can't download and listen to them all, if you think your tracks are good enough then send them to our po box address, that way we will definitely check them. Also please dont send messages for Ralph as he is rarely on here (try the 2020Soundsystem myspace though) and last but not least, please dont just add comments that are just jpegs of your latest flyer as we will just delete them, we are right miserable northern bastards.
